Allen Maddox

1948-2000
b. England lived in New Zealand

Maddox was born in Liverpool, England and as a young teenager moved to New Zealand. He based himself in New Zealand and exhibited throughout the country from the mid-1970s until his passing in 2000. Despite a relatively short career, Maddox’s works are held in significant public collections throughout the country including Museum of New Zealand - Te Papa Tongarewa, The Chartwell Collection and Auckland Art Gallery.

Gow Langsford Gallery represented Allen Maddox from 1987 and continues to represent his estate.
