John Gow
Director

John Gow is a founding director of Gow Langsford Gallery. John has a strong interest in both historical and contemporary New Zealand art, gained from his wide experience advising private collectors, acting as a consultant to corporate collections, museums and public institutions.  John is currently a member of the McKelvie Trust Board which manages the bequest of the McKelvie Estate at the Auckland Art Gallery, and of the Northern Club Art Committee.

Gary Langsford
Director

Gary Langsford is a founding director of Gow Langsford Gallery and is also co-owner of design55, a design store specialising in limited edition furniture and objects.

Gary has worked as a specialist in contemporary New Zealand art for over two decades and has pioneed New Zealand's participation at international art fairs such as NICAF in Japan, Art Cologne in Germany and the Melbourne Art Fair. Gary holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Auckland and has a strong knowledge in 20th Century Decorative Arts, and a particular interest in the wider international art market. Gary is a founding member of the New Zealand Contemporary Art Dealers Association and is currently a board member of Heart of the City.

Anna Jackson
Gallery Manager

Anna Jackson returned to Gow Langsford Gallery in 2007 having worked as Registrar from 2002 - 2004. Following her time as Registrar she lived in Berlin for two years and went on to New York where she was an Editorial Intern in New York at NY Arts Magazine.  Anna has a Master of Arts Management (2010) and a Bachelor of Visual Arts from Auckland University of Technology (2002) .

Shona Irwin
Group Accountant

Shona Irwin joined the Gow Langsford Gallery team as Accountant in 2009. She is a member of the NZ Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Gail Hofmann
Accounts

Gail Hofmann combines both her interest in contemporary art with her accounting knowledge and skills.  Gail is a keen art collector and a founding member of the Blythe Art Group.

Amie Hammond
Marketing Manager

Prior to joining the team at Gow Langsford Amie Hammond spent five years working in the arts in London. Amie worked in the marketing departments of The Art Fund and the Southbank Centre and has gallery experience from positions at the Hayward Gallery in London and Parnell Gallery in Auckland.  Amie has a Master of Arts (Hons) in Art History from Auckland University.

Sarah Moloney
Registrar

Sarah Moloney joins the Gow Langsford team as Registrar and is based at the Kitchener St Gallery.  Sarah is from the United Kingdom and has a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Visual Communication. She has a background in the creative industries having worked in Film, Opera, Photography and Radio.

Hannah Valentine
Gallery Assistant (partime)

Hannah is currently studying a BFA (Hons)/BA from Elam School of Fine Arts.  She has spent time studying Fine Arts in Italy and New York and has a keen interest in the contemporary art scene both in New Zealand and abroad. She is passionate about art and developing curatorial skills.

Gow Langsford Gallery now offers an internship program. Internships are for three months and are designed to give participants valuable experience working in a successful dealer gallery.
